500ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average frothy lacing minimally off-white head. Grainy and malty aroma, a touch of hay and citrus. Flat, watery, slightly soapy taste, grassy, strawy, papery; dry soapy finish.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and firm medium-sized foamy head. Cara-malty and slightly papery aroma with notes of butterscotch and citric hops. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate, slightly crisp carbonation. Slim cara-malty base with subtle fruity notes; moderately dry and bitter hoppy finish. Drinkable, but not a highlight. 26.V.12

[Dad shared a bottle with me - cheers!] Pale amber, slight white head and an annoying prickly fizz. Some florals at first and a little lemon, but largely watery and tasteless with a little cardboardy bitterness at the end. A sad excuse for a bitter, and an awful way to see in my thousandth rating (had much nicer beers waiting at home, but the timing just didn’t work out).
