Bottled. A dark yellow beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spicey hops, malt, and toffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, toffee, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Dobry Bitter, jakby lekko mętny, koloru jasnego bursztynu, z bogatą pianą. Miło się degustowało wraz z odpowiednim posiłkiem. Przyjemna gorycz, ale nie nachalna

50cl bottle from Morrisons. Amber with a loose cream head; surprisingly fresh and grassy aroma; light grainy body that’s rather sweet; and some pleasant leavy hop giving a light bitterness and a drying finish. Much better than expected.

Golden colour with a white head. Mild citrus aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Unusual mixed flavour. Fruity and some citrus (not citric) on a fine caramel malt background.

Nice clear golden coloured ale, but no head. Is nicely hopped with a slightly heavy texture.

Bottle:Golden, quite stable small head, papery and citrussy nose; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, not so light bodied; vegetables in the citrussy-bitter finish. Not good…

500ml Brown bottle: best before 31 July 2012. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard 12 hours before 31 July 2012 (so just in date)! Thought it was going to be a bright, clear golden brew but it turned cloudy towards the end of the pour as some grist/sediment leapt out the bottle. Thin head and collar of white on top. Nose was sweet: caramel and toffee esters leading the way. The taste more bitter than the smell suggests with the malts taking a back seat behind the hop flavours. Good depth of flavours and body strenght for a 3.6% offering: had in cask form back in May 2012, this isn’t a great beer, but it certainly isn’t a bad one either.
