Wee Jock is an edgy take on a classic 1980 Shilling from the year of Jock’s birth. A full on sessionable brew, blasted with flavour, a toffee nose and a spicy wee aftertaste. For brews, besties and banter; when your mates are round, crack open a cheeky Wee.

500ml bottle from Tesco - Deep russet body, thin white head. Lots of malty caramel notes in the nose, sweetish start with a gentle bitter finish. Very quaffable.

Cask at The Halfway House, Edinburgh. It pours deep/dark brown with a sturdy beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, malt loaf character, briwn bread, dark fruits and Eccles cake. The taste is is dry, bitter - sweet, wood, light tannin, dark fruits, berry, some cola, malt loaf and a bit of toasted nut. Finish is drying. Light to medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Moreish and pretty flavourful for the abv.
