*Nicht ganz so süßlich wie das "normale", aber die Minze ist spürbar. Leichte künstliche Limette im Hintergrund, süffig und nicht zu süß. Nett.

Can from the Republique Monoprix. Pours gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma suggests lime soda. Med body or so. Flavor is minty with a lime background. Meh.
Toevoeging van munt vind ik eigenlijk wel een meerwaarde. Beetje cocktailachtig. Uiteraard niet echt bier

Bottle. Piss colored. Smell of sweet chemical lime, mint and grain. Taste is really sweet, with fake lime, mint and a weird tequila like mess. Yech.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Smells mint, mojito, herbs. Tastes mint, mojito, weird. Pepermint. Like a dentist brew. Thin body, soft to medium carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Clear golden color, average sized off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste are sweet, lightly lime and lightly tequila influences as was to be expected. Not bad in the hot sun I guess, but crappy otherwise.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn Culemborg. Very pale yellow with a thin white head. Lime and mint aroma and taste. Really undrinkable. Horrible.

Ah, here’s my favorite brand again, with yet another flavour. Lime, mint and tequila extracts in a cheap lager from a transparent longneck bottle, what can go wrong... Pours a clear ’old gold’ colour with some tiny bits of ’dust’ floating around, calm fizz, loose, snow white head. Obnoxious aroma from half a yard away: this almost smells like a mojito, which is probably the intention; lime, white rhum, indeed peppermint, lemonade and only very, very faintly a desperate graininess trying to convince you that this is still beer. I’ll give it one thing: contrary to my expectations, the infamous ’lightstruck’ effect (cat pee) is not noticeable. Sugary sweet onset, like Fanta or some other overly sweet and industrial Coca Cola product, cloying to the teeth, industrial lemon juice acidity, thin and slick mouthfeel with a fair amount of carbonation, and then it happens: retronasal mint, and lots of it, but far removed from the fresh peppermint my grandmother used to make tea with - this is very artificial, almost like peppermint candy. Finish is a bit dryish, some bitterness there, chemical, with that awful tequila extract manifesting itself; meanwhile the lemonade-like sweetness and ascorbic acid remain firmly in place. I sincerely hope this is the last addition to this brand. That being said, I found it a bit less off-putting than the original version, but equally ’unbeery’.

500 ml. can @ home. For science. Very clear, light golden, slightly greenish, sparkling, fizzy egg-white chemical head. Nose is pure lemonade, cheap generic brand lemonade, chemical white sugar sweet mint, lots of lemonade. Taste is heavy chemical mint, sweeteners, 100 % artificial, detergent, odd artificial faintly bitter chemical mint aftertaste, odd washing powder sweetness,… Washing powder & lemonade body. Super-duper chemical. This is perfect for minus 16 kids looking to get drunk. This really just tastes like chemical lemonade with no signs of beer or anything resembling an alcoholic drink. For the crowd that is likely to go for this, this is perfect really much like Desperados Red, regular Desperados is still nasty.

33cl bottle from a local Asian shop. A watery pale straw appearance; unexpectedly fresh minty aroma; strong spearmint taste with a corn syrup body. Certainly better than expected.
