Bottle. I'm really impressed. This is a good beer from the brewery poking fun at microbreweries. Not black but a really, really dark Amber with an off white two finger head. Aroma is surprisingly light for a dark beer. Mostly sweet roasted grains. Taste is roasted grains with just a hint of smokiness.

Red-brown with a huge foamy tan head. Sweet and malty with caramel, bread, honey and hints of wood and dark fruit. Medium finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Surprisingly good.

Black pour. Nut and citrus nose. A nut and citrus peel flavor. It's a good beer.

Bourbon, molasses, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with small head. Moderately sweet light bourbon, molasses, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Not bad.

Dark brown color with sweet bourbon aroma. Taste has just enough bourbon sweetness to mask any bitter coffee flavor. Not overly strong tasting, but a moderate bourbon flavor along with wood.. Floral and crisp hop finish. Gets more boozy as it warms.

Bottle from Total Wine. Never see the Bud variants as singles in Idaho. Dark, clear brown with a nice fluffy tan head. Nice roasty aroma, slightly burnt. Taste also features some nice dark malts, woody, with a little bourbon barrel edge. Quite surprised, this is actually pretty good.

Stubby bottle picked up at the state store. Pours clear dark brown with a medium sized beige head, light lacing. Toasted malts, caramel, vanilla, raisins, smokey, sweet malts. Not bad. I'd have another one.
