16/V/16 - 33cl bottle @ Leuven Innovation - BB: n/a (2016-532) Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear dark amber beer, no head. Aroma: lots of alcohol, banana, very phenolic, bit sweet, banana peel, bit resinous, wood. MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit oxidized, alcohol, sourish, sherry notes, wood. Aftertaste: sour, alcohol, green apples, oxidized, some dried fruits. Lovely how complex this beer is!

No head, due to artificial lighting, arbitrary appearance rating. Sherry drink, vanillaed brandy (not Bourbon), perfumey, bath salts. Old wine barrels, more bath salts, artificial fruitesters. Slick, sticky, but not really thick-bodied. Weird. Weird is the only epitheton coming to mind.
