Draught at the brewpub. Murky orange body. Thick medium sized white head. Lemony, acidic yeasty nose. Fruity sweet taste, yeasty, light banana. Light chewed-up bubblegum. Chalky, lactic. Not much aftertaste. Nice little weizen, another one from H&B I liked.

Draught @ Brewpub Hops & Barley, Wühlischstr 22-23, Friedrichshain, 10245 Berlin, Germany.Hazy medium orange color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, fruity, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fresh and fruity flavor. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090919]

Draught@brewpub. Dark amber color, steady creamy beige head. Strong aroma of banana, baling yeast, blue and sweet bun. Flavor is quite sweet: banana and some caramel, low bitterness. Feels a bit unfermented, but ok drinkabilty.

(Draugh at the brewpub on 2009-02-06) Golden and hazy. Medium sized and quite quickly disappearing white head. Light fruity aroma. Dry and medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Grass, bitterness, white bread and fruitiness in taste. Fruity and bitter aftertaste.

On tap. Hazy, deep amber golden with a small, white head leaving a little lacing. Somewhat strange bonbon-like nose. Medium body, a little yeast and phenols and then again these sweet bonbon accents. None of the nomal characteristics of a Hefe: banana, cloves and citrus. No bitterness. Basically a failed attempt at a Hefe. 070109

Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin off-white head - looks more like a dunkles weizen. The aroma is sweet wheaty combined with lighter notes of yeast and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat and yeast, as well as lighter notes of fruit, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy to murky orange with a lacing off-white head. Mild fruity and estery aroma, light banana and orange accents. Flavour is smooth wheaty with a nice yet not overdone set of fruity esters. Has a mild orange fruity and followed by a more classic banana fruity flavour. Sweet to acidic and fruity finish.
