Tap at the brewpub, Berlin. Pours a mid hazy yellow-gold with a fine, white head. Nice banana, wheat, yeast and vanilla frosting aroma. Medium sweet flavor, bready wheat, candi sugar, some hay. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with white bread, some doughy yeast, sweet banana. Very solid.

Beer No. 42 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
On tap at Hops & Barley. Cloudy orange coloured, small white head, not so pleasant sourish nose. Sharp acidic fruity and quite sourish yeasty taste with notes of overripe banana near the end. Bad batch???

Cloudy light tan. The aroma is mostly wheaty and a little fruity. Sweet and tart with icing sugar. Decent weizen, with a little crisp apple acidity.

(Draught at the brewpub, Berlin, 21 July 2010) Cloudy pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, dried apricots and bread. Fruity, malty taste with orange, apricots, banana, clove and a slightly spicy finish. Light body, balanced sweetness. Kind of average but decent hefeweizen.

07/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured orange body with small to medium sized head. Peeled orange, bubblegum and some strange coriander-like spice in the aroma. Sweetish banana and bubblegum yeasty flavor, also pretty chalky, yoghurty and dusty with more wheat and less yeast punch than most of the Weizens. Medium body with pleasant long banana and chalky finish. Good German wheat for sure.
