This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and pale beer aged on cherries. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour.

Heavy vinegar aroma, the flavor doesn’t match. Cherries are a little muted, there’s a bit of a boozy sugar cane/rum finish. Pretty complex.

Oh my god, the beer. Sweet but not syrupy, the color is crazy cool, and it's delicious.

Nicely tart, yet still a bit sweet. plenty of cherry. Has a good woody flavor as well. Decent balance. Good stuff for warm days.

Ripe cherries balanced w/some sour ones, black currant, black berries, cherry flavored hard candy. Sweet/sour blend, sweet is stronger but the balance is really good. Wonderful smooth mouthfeel, really creamy & well carbonated. Gueuzy texture. Nice.

Dirt cheap. Nicely tarted. Clean. Easy-drinking Belgian ale ideal for a hot day. Serve slightly chilled.
