Papa’s Beard is a Brown Ale brewed with rooibos and oats. Pours reddish-brown with a small white head. Aroma with hints of chocolate, toasted malt and bread. Flavour is spicy, with medium sweetness and bitterness, and a sweet finish. A good dense Brown Ale.

Opaque dark reddish-brown colour, small creamy tan head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dried dark fruits, cocoa, coffee, light liquorice, light rooibos. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, chocolate, light caramel, earthy notes. Lingering malty sweetbitter aftertaste chocolate, rooibos, spices, earthy notes. Medium bodied, oily texture texture, soft carbonation, a good sipper, sturdy and earthy.

bottle from @Taboada, thanks. pours thin brown with a red hue and a very light brown head. Aroma of caramel, malts, laurel, rooibos thee, fruity hop, salmiak, liquorice. Taste has a hughe amount of spices like salmiak, rooibos and liquorice. Dark brown color, frothy off-white head, good retention and lacework. Aroma has notes of toasted malts and light dry fruits. Flavor is mild bittery toasty and notes of burnt sugar. Bittery final, very high carbonation.
