Torpah is a range of 3 single hop beers, each made from a unique and singly type of hop, hence the name. That’s why it’s a single hop.
The 3 hop varieties selected come from 3 different continents and bring a large variety of flavors directly linked to the characteristics of the land of those countries:
United States (Chinook)
New-Zealand (Wai-ti)
France (Aramis).
The declinations of Torpah, 30 – 60 – 90, refer directly to the IBU (bitterness index) present in each of those beers. This induces you to taste them all to see the progressive intensity of the bitterness and the work that has been achieved around each hop.

33cl can. Bbe 15.09.2017. Poured golden color with a thick dense white head. High carbonation. Plasticky notes, lemony hops. Dry flavor, some malt, Belgian yeast. Mouthdrying finish. The carbonation making it slightly tough to drink.

Super gozkie piwo. Potega goryczki nie spotykana dotad w belgijskich piwach. Piana bielusienka trwala i ladna, jaskrawo zolta barwa, a po dolaniu sporej metnosci zabarwienie zmienia sie na ciemno pomaranczowe. Piwo gorzkie z przewaga aromatow i smakuw orientalnych cytrusow. Grejfruty, mnostwo ich, czerwone pomarancze, limonka i cytryny, sporo takze kwasnego jablka, jeszcze zauwazylem suszona morele. Extra nachmielone piwo z Belgii. Polecam

F: big, creamy, white, good retention. C: hint of orange, gold, light hazy. A: citrus, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, pine, T: Chinook version, citrus, pine resin, grapefruit, caramel, dry on the palate, earthy bitterness, I like IPA and this is it more than Belgian ale, so very good for me, 0,33l bottle from Delhaize @ Schaerbeek in Brussels.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij Culemborg Hazy golden with a white head. Koriander aroma with some hops. Bitter taste with some malts. Nice beer.

Geel bier met veel schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en iets rookachtig. Licht zoet met iets van vanille. Vreemd dat de 90 minder bitter overkomt dan de 60.

donker gouden met schuimige witte kraag. aroma van mouten, zoet, weeïg en gist. smaken zin metalig, gist, koriander, veel te bitter en niet gebalanceerd, maar ’t belangrijkste .... ik vind het gewoon niet lekker...

33cl bottle from Wines & More, Leiden. Thick white head. Cloudy blond pour. Some sediment & small chunks. Nice bitterness for a Belgian beer.
