Bottle, 2013 edition. Darkened amber. Lovely honey, pear schnapps, flower aroma. Medium body, light candy entry, fresh honey, light herb, fresh minty exit. Flowers retronasal. Super nice drink, great balance.

Sampled from bottle shared by SinH4 @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts 2018 Day 1. Clear dark golden to coppery orangy color. Intense but balanced sure concentrated ripe apple. A bit heavy though. Really in your face so to speak. Nice though.

Bottle, many thanks JulienHuxley! Deep copper amber color with no head. Aroma is caramel, bratapfel, all apple goodness, cinnamon. Taste is bratapfel, caramel, baked stuff. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Awesome and decadent!

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear amber. Aroma is over caramelized, bratapfel, cinnamon, overdone. Body continues like that Lederapfel, too much caramel to be really enjoyable. Super intense, beyond the point of being balanced. Still a good beverage though.

Tasting at Matt’s, corked bottle; vintage 2011; 11% ABV
Amber color, bright. The aroma focuses on the stewed pears, the flavor is rich, plenty of stewed fruits, some raisins too, a lot of Demerara sugar, moderate acidity for an Ice Cider, the final has some more feeling of white sugar.
Rich sipper, moderately complex.

375mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a clear caramel brown. Nose is very rich, with loads of treacle toffee, caramel apple, and brown sugar. Flavour is intense and incredibly smooth, with loads of treacle toffee, some vanilla, caramel apple, and brown sugar. Amazingly smooth and integrated, with tons of layers. Elegant, deep, rich and complex. Fantastic.

Can’t remember where I got this bottle. Drank half of it 6 months ago and forgot it in the back of the fridge. Looks like reddish cane syrup very thick. Big alcohol legs. Smells like baked Apple with fried pear, brown sugar and Christmas. Intense sweetness. This really is cloyingly sweet. Almost beyond what I can handle. That baked apple flavor is persist at.
