Can. Clear gold sporting a lovely white head. Aroma of grains, straw and earthy hops. Taste of grains, malts, dough, bread, straw and minerals. Moderate grainy bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Well it’s ok but at the end of the day it’s a subpar Pils. There may be a time and place for living off of Holsten, goulash and red peppers but that’s neither now nor here.

Dorée, col blanc.
Arôme sur un nez basique - malté pils mais sans plus - frais houblonné sur un noble marqué - terreux, finement floral.
Palais est frais, sec, assez banale - pils très proche de ce que Carlsberg offre - pas étonnant que ces derniers aient rachetés Holsten. Sec, léger herbacé, effet un peu thé refroidi.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Weak, minimally musty, grainy and strawy aroma, a touch of wet straw, silage, sweet-ish, doughy overtones. Taste is grainy malty with low residual sweetness, a minimally doughy touch, weak, plain, bitter hoppy counterpart with metallic overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Simple, expressionless, at least quite clean and thirst quenching. Not exciting, not uncomfortable - not remarkable.
