Emphasizing that complexity of character can arise from simple elements, this ale is made with three malts and one hop. Its light amber color and slightly spicy malt character are derived from the use of German Dark Munich Malt and Rye Malt respectively. North American 2-row barley combines with the other grains to lay the foundation for the hop onslaught to come. Summit hops are used exclusively in the boil for bitterness, flavor and aroma but it doesn't end there. Post-fermentation dry hopping allows the 10% ABV monstrosity to gently coax the citrus rind and grapefruit aroma to join the 100 IBUs already present. This beer should greet you with a pungent citrus blast, provide a spicy yet round middle and finish with a brisk, clean bitterness.

Bottle from SB. Clear golden color with medium white head. Citrus and floral dominate the aroma with some peach and bread. Sweet citrus and some malty sweentess followed by light bitterness.. Medium-thin body but with a little stickiness to it. Very easy for the ABV.

(355ml can from Systembolaget, data 05/01/15) Pours clear dark gold with a fluffy short lived white head and no lace. Aroma is papaya, apricot, cedar foliage, grapefruit, lemon zest, light caramel and spicy malts, hint of coconut. On the palate, lightly sweet with peach, pineapple, papaya, grapefruit and that funny slightly buttery coconut Sorachi Ace quality. Hops kick in bitterness in the middle though, with a leafy character that has fresh pine and cedar and a menthol buzz to it, and a little citrus peel. Finish dry, moderately bitter, softly clinging to the mouth. Medium bodied and slick with average carb and very little alcohol heat. An interesting fruit + leaf hop character here, perhaps not my favourite but good for variety. Quite clean and easy on the finish, doesnโt drink its weight. Nice one, though it might have a bigger hit fresh.

Pour is a hazy bright golden with a large white head. Aroma is all full of dank hops. Flavor is again all dank hops with a large mint before the swallow. Very easy as this goes down. Very smooth and hoppy with no alcohol found.

Gubna, how do you say it, with all its variations that taste oh so different. This stuff is so expensive at Hollywood, $4 for 5 oz. . Some ipa aroma in the nose, floral perfume I think. From the first taste its IPA all the way baby. Nice lacing I notice. This is IPOA fer sur, not in the double territory mind you, but really kick ass stringent bitter. Finish is terribly pn I{PA style ,ewewewewe.
