Genesis is our flagship blonde sour and one of our inaugural offerings from the Funkatorium. Fermented with over a pound per gallon of pineapple, guava, papaya, and mango the beer is then aged in wine barrels and blended to accentuate the wild and tropical nature of the yeast and fruit.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is lots of tart stone fruits with tart peach, apricot, some white wine, and grapes. Tart and mild sour, medium body. Very nice stone fruit Sour with a wine barrel twist.

Draft at Craft Brewed Wicked Weed event. Pours a clearish gold witih a small bit of white foam. Lemon, tropical Brett nose....passion fruit aroma. Tart on the palate, creamy, some oak. Bottle from Brewdog bought online. Pours clear golden, with a loose white head that disappeared. Aromas of white wine, peach skin, fruity, light funk. Taste is sour, acidic, floral, white wine, oak. Big dry winey tart finish. Light bodied, gentle carbonation. Enjoyed it, decent rather than awesome.

Bottle, thanks cavemanlawyer! Almost clear pale golden liquid with small, fast dissipating white head. Aroma of lemon, lactic acid, white wine, light wood, apples and light funk. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of lemon, mineral, apple skin, white wine and light grain. Almost reminds me of mineraly champagne. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. A tiny bit boozy. Pretty nice.
