It has been said that we’re huge fans of Ekuanot here at Polly’s, and whoever said as much certainly isn’t wrong. Known for being one of the more complex hop varietals, we love the abundance of flavour notes we find with each successive tasting, with all five of our brewers picking out different flavours every time. A Ritzy Experience is our celebration of this incredible hop, with a massive thirty five kilograms of dry hopping throughout fermentation. An IPA filled to the brim with flavour, expect notes of lime, pithy orange, berries, papaya, as well as a little herbal complexity just to boot.

Good dense yellowish head over fully hazy yellow-golden beer. Fragrant blossomy, resiny hops' nose, perfumey. Just a tad cheesy. Quite bitter. Again floral, bitter, unripe fruit. Gives a fresh impression. Aftertaste is wry, very resiny, spruce, and long-lasting. Good carbonation, very hopoly MF. Very outspoken IPA.

Can at home, 14/02/20. Hazed orange with a decent off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, stoned fruits, ripe melon, weed, faint pine, papaya. Taste comprises bitter orange, big chalky minerals and out of kilter in this respect - dominating the palate, melon, grass, grapefruit, light pine, Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Bit of a let down this one … overly minerally and lacking balance … but just about drinkable to the close.
