Lots of apple. Flat, a bit buttery, and fairly dry. Traditional cider without turning hipster. Enjoyable, but maybe a bit boring after a while. Needs something to pair it with.

22-08-18 // 1000ml bottle shared. Clear golden. lots of bubbles. Quite sweet, apple sweetness. Smooth. Too sweet for me.

Von Fass at the Frankfurt Apfelwein Festival 2018. Shiny deep golden color, hazy. Dry apple nose. Flavor is sweet apples goinig straight to dryness. Very fruity, at least, if not exactly sweet. Sour edge. Very interestingly fruity for the style.

100cl bottle. Pours hazy golden colour, with no head. Aroma of fresh sweet apples, pears. Taste of sour riped apples, wood, citrons, good cider!

Eher mild apfeliger Antrunk, würzig, mild bitter-trocken. Bereits im Mittelteil milder werdend, spritzig, zunehmend säuerlich. Rund, mir aber etwas zu mild. 7/8/9/8/7/7

very pale and slightly cloudy in the glass. The cider starts tart, sour-fruity and quite flavourful. The mainpart is smooth, slightly watery. Sour-tart and highly drinkable. In the aftertaste sour apples, tart fruitiness but slightly watery and highly drinkable.

Bottle(1000ml): Pale golden, hazy, some loose bubbles in the rapidly vanishing white foamy layer, moderate to solid fruity-sourish (apples, what else…) nose with distinctive cellary undertones; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, relatively soft snd not too dry, almost medium bodied; sweetish-sourish fruity finish with a lingering, but still mild, "mouldy" tartness in the aftertaste. Ein gutes Schöppsche…
