Brown with a dark and sustained colour, topped with a light mousse. First lactic and cheesy, the nose reveals delicious accents of coffee and roasting, and notes of heated brown sugar, cane sugar and . The palate is reminiscent of roasted and toasted, with a very present caramel touch. EBC 80.

(Bottle, Monkβs CafΓ© Wallingatan, Stockholm) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with dried fruit, raisins, caramel, ryvita, toasty malt and hints of brown sugar. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, ryvita, dried fruit, caramel, burnt sugar and a spicy bitterness in toasty finish. Medium body, fairly dry for its strength, with a slightly spritzy carbonation. Clean and fresh. Possibly not brilliant, but solid and well made. Nice one.

Bottle, 8%. Gusher. Sweet and sugary aroma, brown sugar and a little butter. Clear dark chestnut colour. Big unstable brown head. The flavour starts off rather fruity, turning sweet and sugary. There is some brown sugar again, a bit of caramel and a distinct alcohol note. Not entirely harmonious, but the sweetness and alcohol balance each other out.

03/08/2010 33cl bottle @ home Thanks to Bram and Stimi for the bottle!
Clear red brown to brown beer, rocky head that dissipates immediately. Aroma: sweet, caramel, brown candi sugar, ripe fruits. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: a little sweet but mainly fruity, followed by slight hop bitterness. Aftertaste: little tart, nutty, some roasted malts. Balanced but pretty boring.
