Golden Double IPA, in pure American style with a dry finish that gives it a dangerous drinkability. The unscrupulous use of classic and latest generation hops give strong aromas of blood orange, citrus and candied fruit.

Bottle. A huge, off-white head forms over an unclear, golden-orange body. The aroma has lots of orange, with a faint spiced touch, some white sugar and pale malts. Medium to full body, velvety and and with a soft carbonation. Some sweetness in the flavor, oranges, white sugar notes and some bitterness. Lasting finish with a tad too much malty sweetness. A decent one indeed, but lacking quite a bit to be a double ipa in the way I like them. 140426

750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, a touch of gooseberry, cautious hints of fruit gums, caramel malty background. Taste is bitter and fruity hoppy, caramel malty basis, notes of almond, gooseberry, bitter orange; soft palate.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with big frothy white head, citrus and grapefruit aroma, taste a bit Belgian IPA some of that yeasty action going on but mostly citrus and grapefruit, ok.

Cloudy amber beer with a big pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with prickly fine carbonation. Semi dry malt, semi sweet, little cream. Semi sweet piney hops. Touch of orange. Finishes smooth. A sweetish IPA, tasty but not that clean.

Tap at Beer Temple, 10th December 13. Another reasonable DIPA from this brewery, tried side by side with Surfing Hop, SH was my favourite of the 2

Primär hefiger, dann hopfiger Antrunk mit zu starker Karbonisierung. Hell, leicht bitter, der Hopfen nimmt ab. Eher wie ein hopfiges belgisch inspiriertes Bier als wirklich ein IPA. OK. 11/10/10/9/10/9
