Draft. A golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of beech wood smoke, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, beechwood smoke, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle from the brewer. Fun nose—nice rich lager malts with pepperoni, chilis, smoke. Deep, pretty golden color with a thick head. Very interesting flavor, peppery, good malt character, creamy, bead. Manageable peppery burn in the finish. This is a very fun and well made beer. A touch too much pepper for me, but much more likeable than most other chili beers I have had.

On tap @ Artigiano in Fiera 2015, Milano.

Rated on June 7th, 2014. Pours slightly hazy, nice white foam. Orange. Aroma has smoke and spices, lager base is also detectable. Taste is quite soft, spices get stuck in your mouth and linger for longer. Smokiness is stronger at first, then weakens. Finish is somewhat sweeter and maltier. Interesting but not something I’d like to have all the time.

Golden color. Slightly spicy, bready nose. Very malty, with smoke fairly strong, but spice is subdued to the right level. Lingering malty finish, with some spice. Not bad.

A cloudy, dark yellow beer with a dense, medium and white head. The nose rich malts, pepper, some smoke and smoked ham. The smoked aromas disappered after a few swigs.Taste of malts, some smoke, pepper and hint of grass. Medium bodied, slightly harsh carbonation, softer when warmer. Unique and tastefull beer, a first time when I found pepper from beer.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie October 2013 consumed at Eardisley, Hereford Saturday 9th November 2013 Golden in colour, busy carbonation, white bubbly head. Chilli warmth is apparent but well done it compliments rather than overtakes. This is actually a refreshing beer, clean tasting some fruitiness however ultinately it is just a little bit ermm.. unexciting, I found myself drinking it wanting something else from it but nothing else came.
