Can from Beerdome. Aroma is cocoa, milk chocolate, green chili peppers, some coffee, and a little alcohol in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter with a pleasant chili burn. Body is above medium. Plenty of chocolate with chili peppers, a theoretical winner but it just doesn't come together all that well.

ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, cocoa, coffee - coffee vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, chili warm - hot, coffee vegetables, green coffee, cocoa, dark malt, chili finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming (both from the alcohol and the chili) and light alcoholic. [20200722]

Tap. Dark brown with almost coffee foam. Aroma: a little strange, boiled vegetables, rags, peppers, caramel, roasted, spices and chocolate. Taste: sweet, a little pepper, heats, coffee, milky chocolate.

330ml can. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, fading, tan head. Roasty, grainy, bready, malty aroma, hints of pumpernickel, rye bread, treacle, coffee surrogate, burnt caramel, booze. Taste is sweet-ish, bready, spicy and alcoholic, hints of treacle, pumpernickel, rye bread, some biting, alcoholic bitterness. Mixture of something like Imperial Kvass and alcohol-based disinfectant. Loath to finish this in extenso.

Aroma is Green peppers, cocoa beans, burnt Brown sugar and chili peppers. Taste is plenty of Green peppers and spiced malts. Sugary. Intense burning chilli spiced finish. Too much. Next one please!
