Towering, dense, light-yellowish head over well-carbonated hazy yellow beer, leaving textbook lacerings. Malts, pale mostly, white candi sugar, spicy, alcohol. Terribly sweet, sugary and rather boozy. Orangepeel, blue curaçoa - probably added indeed. Whiff of vanilla. Warming up, other herbs/spices. Medium bodied at best, thick for a "tripel", not very attenuated despite the lots of sugar. Almost overcarbonated. Too sweet by half. Txs to Stef!

Pours cristal clear, but cloudy by adding sediment. Small white head. Scent is herbal, aged malts, dull and boring, with the herbal segment to set it appart (i'mma leave it in the middle wether that's a good thing). Taste is sharp, fairly bitter and hoppy, way to bitter for a tripel, but yay for me than. Not as banana oriented either. The herbal character is far less pronounced. Not very balanced, but I personally can entertain this bitter version of a tripel. Medium to medium thin body, high carbo. Decent.
