33cl bottle in Cambrinus, Brugge on 8th June 2023. Misty brown body, beige crust. Malty and semi-sweet, it's all about malty molasses and Belgian yeast. Thought it OK,

Shaken bottle, must be careful as foam goes all over the place. Smell- weak malt, weak Belgian yeast. Foam- thin, weak caramel, weak roast, weak acidic tones, weak Belgian yeast. Head is medium-sized, white-brown in color. Appearance- nice brewer bottle cap, simple label. Clear ish, red-brown color, few carbonation bubbles. From - pint Price - 2.49 for 0.33 l Taste - malty, weak caramel, weak sweetness, weak yeast. Fine Belgian.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a chalice. Hazy amber brown colour, small fizzy off-white head, diminishing quickly, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, liquorice, candy sugar. Taste above medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, candy sugar, light chocolate notes, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering roasty notes, no that special but okay.

It's okay, has a bit of that hazy ash-like flavour. The bottle was a bit of a gusher. The caramel note and belgian yeast driven flavours underneath save it, but it's below average for the style. I think a fresh bottle would be vastly different. online beerwulf

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a very murky nut brown colour with a tint of orange and a small to medium throthy beige head. Lots of sediment. Aromas of very overripe rotten fruit, fermented milk/cheese, tobacco, leather and vinous notes. Not a very pleasant aroma. Taste is slightly better but with the same notes as in the aroma. Light to medium bodied. Slight fizz on the palate with a soapy mouthfeel. I don’t know if i have a rogue bottle but this beer is not nice at all. One of the worst dubbels i have tried. Disappointed.
