Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet with an aroma of resinous hops, malt, pine resin, some caramel, soft tropical fruits with grapefruit and ripe orange. Finishes medium bitter, body is medium. Nice resinous and malty IIPA.

Can. Very light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. What? Surely hazy enough to be added as such, he said with teeth grinding sarcasm! Smooth light palate with decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts bring a decent creamy sweetness. Slightly resinous and piney citrus, fair bit of smooth citrus peel. Good pine overlay throughout. Touch of tropical fruits. Smooth piney resinous citric finish. Tidy and well joined up and drinkable but feels old school.

Can at Maakun’s. Clear pale amber with thin white head. Sweet, fruity and caremelly, sweet tea, bit alcoholic, naked moldy onion in hiding about ready to jump out screaming. Moderate sweet and bitter, medium body and soft carbonation.

Can shared at home. Clear darker golden with good sized almost white head. Dank fruity hops, alcohol, weedy hops, light flowers, orange peel, lychee, grassy, sugary malts. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with boozy finish. Decent aroma but a little rough and boozy.

Ruikt vol en zoet van sinaasappel en wat citrus, stevig granige smaken, neigt naar een US bw, alcoholisch, wat steenfruit, tja .....3.4

44 cl. can shared with Suus @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Dutch brewery #356. Clear amber color with a white head. Tropical fruit aroma with some flowery hops and a solid caramel malt backbone. Taste is medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Alcohol is very well concealed. Nice malty DIPA.

Taster at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. amber hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, peppery, pines, herbal, bit dank, tobacco. ok smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes piney, peppery, earthy, tobacco, herbal, citric, bit grapefruity. finishes lightly dry and light to medium bitter with notes of pines, peppery and citric notes. bit on the heavy side and not super complex, overall quite drinkable though.

440ml can. Sligfhtly cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background with a honey touch, hints of resin, lemon, some grass, a touch of liquorice. Taste is sweet, caramel malty with a honey touch, rather weak, piney and citrusy hoppy, hints of mandarine, orange, some pineapple, a resinous touch, a rubber-like touch of liquorice as well. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine carbonation. Pretty classic West Coast style, malt dominated, condensed, oily hop flavours. Reminds me a bit of Bear Republic IPAs concerning the liquorice effect of condensed hop oil.
