An orange beer with a huge, clouding and blond head, a pouring needs a time. The nose is very interesting and complex. Fruits, green apples, tartness, some lether saddle and spices. Taste is fruitfull, quite dry, green apples. At least medium and balanced tartness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, but that’s nice and smooth. Enjoyable and complex beer with the balanced brettanomyces. There are some challences for drinker.

Bottle @ Rotterdam, Hki. Hazy orange, thick white head. Brett aroma with orange, spices and fruit. Flavor is complex, tart bretty with citrus, sweeter fruity notes, yeast. Complex, refreshing, easy. Just great. Hides the alcohol well, feels quite light at times really.dry finish. Excellent.

Pours super foamy...slow dissipation....clear honey gold when you finally see liquid. Light lemon/lime aroma ....yeast. Taste is yeasty, brett, ginger. Absolutely feathery light on the tongue. Very different.

Hazy amber beer, massive off white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Lots of seltzer minerals and Belgian yeast! Loads! A little citrus is well buried but stops it getting too one dimensional. Finishes crispy. Bitterish yeast aftertaste. Quite drinkable!

Bottle from Craft beer Co online shop. A hazy dark golden/straw coloured pour with a huge white head on top, very difficult to pour this one. Sweet, yeasty Belgian aroma. Tastes very Belgian, sweet, yeasty, malty, hoppy and hint of apple. Nice Belgian style beer from Green Flash.

12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a giant off-white ice cream float head that takes its sweet time receding. Aroma is brett-forward in a big way--dusty old books, citrus, floral. Taste is dry and a little bitter. Lemony. Carbonation is low, mouthfeel foamy. Nice bretty beer. I wish the carbonation was more prickly and the mouthfeel was less foamy, though.

Bottle at home, No best before date stamp, why did the red lights not flash and did I still buy it... I got this 50% cheaper(still 3 Euro), the beer had a very high carbonation, aroma was bitter, maybe a bit citrus. Taste was nothing like people describe the beer. I don’t know maybe I have a very old bottle... and i shouldn’t have bought it, but i give it just average score to add it to my ’’have had’’ list.

I’ve heard before that this is an American stand-in for Orval, and I can definitely see the similarities. Pours a little explosively, but again that may have been due to the airplane trip my bottle took from Niagara to Medellin. Aroma has light, well-integrated brettamonyces, grapefruit peel and some mash malt. A small dose of floral hops as well. Pours brownish orange with foamy head and good lacing. Finishes with equal parts medium bitterness and sourness. Soft carbonation. Texture slightly cloying but mostly slick. Bottle.

Pours a cloudy golden-yellow with very big head. Aroma full of fruit esters--almost seems more like a wheat beer. Flavor is not much like a pale ale--the brett yeast (or whatever it is) kind of dominates the proceedings. Not sure why you’d want to put that in a pale ale in the first place. As others have noted, this is also a very fizzy, overly-carbonated beer. Didn’t care for this one.
