0.33 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr), best before April 2024. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. A little sweetish, slightly malty, minimally floral aroma of grains, some corn flakes and light straw. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, moderately dry and a bit grassy taste of grains, some straw and a touch of corn flakes, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Rather clean, neutral, just about drinkable.

Aroma of Brussel sprouts. Thin, grainy, watery, worty. Glue. Some vegetable-like bitterness, not too annoying. Not undrinkable, but no alternative for a well made pilsener.

Can at a tasting. Very watery, very thin, dull, slightly metallic, but overall refreshing and easy drinkable. Okay non-alcoholic.

Pours gold with a sudsy head.Nose shows grassy hops, sweet malt extract, hay and honey.Flavours include more hay, honey and grassy hops. Some cardboard notes too.Body is understandably thin.

330ml bottle from Dubai Mall. Pours clear golden with a medium head that settles quickly. Strong malty odour, not my thing. Crisp and slightly citric taste, some bitterness, but I can’t taste any malt or hops besides that. Not entirely off-putting. Probably about the best that non-alcoholic can do?
