Sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2014, Essen. Trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Gewürzen, Kräuter, Ginger, malzig. Geschmack nach Gewürze, Ginger, ziemlich süß, nicht gut!

Sampled at Kerstbierfestival Essen 2014. Hazy orangy color, small white lacing. Horrible aroma of herbs and spices and vomit and yuk! Horrible mix of vomit, vanilla and ginger. Totally not my thing at all. This beer creeps me out.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Hazy amber orange, beige. Nose is varnish, odd chemical. Taste is ginger, vomit, herbs & vanilla. Medium. What gives, not particularly enjoyable.

One of Eutropius’ first, a winter beer with malt sweet main character, spicy hints, yeasty, with spiciness of juniper berries, cardamom and gale. Typical wintery spice ale, not bad at all.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, soapy, ginger, citrus notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, ginger. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130215]

Bottle. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is herbs, ginger, malt, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, ginger, herbs, malt, sugar, alcohol, yeast. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes malt, yeast, some fruits and ginger. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is fruity and lighlty papery, with ginger and some sweetish notes. Not very interesting I think. The flavor is sweet and lightly fruity, with ginger and bitterness. Medium to full body, a bit sweetish, with a quite high but appropriate carbonation. Sweet, fruity and bitter finish with some ginger. Overall, a bit sweet, but a decent beer anyway. 130215
