4 luppoli Originale è una lager a bassa fermentazione che si distingue per una spiccata armonia nel gusto, con note aromatiche fruttate che ne addolciscono l’amaro moderato.
E’ una birra di malto d’orzo e luppolo, dall’aspetto limpido, colore paglierino e corpo leggero, con una gradazione alcolica di 5,5%.
La particolarità del quarto luppolo offre alla birra un’esaltazione dell’aroma tipico della pianta e permette di rinforzare la schiuma.
Ideale nell’abbinamento con tutti i sapori della tradizione mediterranea, a partire dalla pizza, ma anche con piatti dal gusto rotondo, morbido e con formaggi di media stagionatura.

Bottled (as Poretti 4 Luppoli Originale Chiara). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, cooked vegetables, mild earth. Flavour is sugary, some cabbage, cooked vegetables, grass and some earthy tones.

(Keg at Hard Rock House, 20230429) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and diacetyl. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, diacetyl, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A weak and infected pale lager.

660ml Bottle from Morrisons. Label: Birra Italiana Premium 4.8%. Pours a hazy golden colour with a medium sized thick creamy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste has more grains, hay, toasty bread and also some peppery spice notes. Malty beer with faint subtle grassy hops on the finish. Thin to medium body and slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Decent Lager pleasantly surprised.

(Bottle 4.8% 660ml) Pours clear golden with decent white head. Bold aroma of vegetable and grass. With notes of bread. Light body with good smooth fine carbonation. Grainy bready malt with some sweetness. Balancing hoppy bitterness develops. Quite drinkable.
