330ml bottle [as Diôle Bière de Nöel - Kerstbier, 9.0% abv]. Clear, dark, mahogany colour with ruby glimmer and average to huge, foamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty and yeasty, fruity aroma, notes of dark fruit, dried fruit, raisin, plum, sultana, a touch of banana, clove. Taste is sweet, dark malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, hints of honey and treacle, dried fruit, raisin, some plum, a touch of banana and clove. Oily texture, tacky palate, soft carbonation. Quite sweet, slightly alcoholic - not the purest pleasure.

Many thanks for this beer to Eric De Geyter. Piwo jest ciemno brazowe z rubinowymi refleksami, bez osadu lecz nieco mgliste. Piana spora i trwala, w aromacie sliwki daktyle i figi, zwlaszcza figi. W smaku hiszpanskie figi, nieco melasy, syrop klonowy suszone daktyle. Slodkawy profil piwa nie jest dla mnie odstraszajace bo pojawialy sie nuty scherry czy porto. Alkohol nieco niestety wyczuwalny, nie do konca udalo sie go ukryc.

Flaska från Beergium. 2015 vintage. Mörkbrun vätska med medelhögt beige skum. Doft av mört torkad frukt typ katrinplommon, fikon och dadlar, sirap och vört. En hel del värmande alkohol utan att bli spritigt, julkryddor, vörtbröd, jäst, engelsk fruktkaka, sirapsötma som är lite störande och en lite kryddig eldig avslutning. En bruin model större och helt klart en bra vintrevärmare. Gott men sött och kanske lite vörtigt.

Bottle at home. Two years old. Pours a slightly hazy deep mahogany colour with a beige head. Pretty lively carbonation. Aroma of dades, heather, rye bread, caramel and subtle alcohol and wood. Flavour of wood, heather, leather and brown sugar. Alcohol warmth in the end. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium to full body, and a light bitterness. Nice aroma, rich and a little unbalanced flavour.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Delt med djoeye hos ham 28 Nov 17. Ultramørk kirsebærfarget. Skum med litt farge. Daler sakte. Kirsebæraroma. Smaken kullsyre. Kanskje litt kirsebær i avslutninga men kullsyra ødelegger alt.

33cl Bottle from Vonk, as Bière de Noël, ABV 9%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, plums, prunes, light fruity sourness, malts, some brown sugar. Flavour follows, it’s sweet and fruity but not too sweet, dark fruity light sourness is nice, light spicy, hint of roasted malts, soft creamy bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Decent. 738414
