We have been friends with and fans of Ska Brewing from Durango CO for quite a long time, so we jumped at the chance to collaborate with them. After months of recipe work, our collaboration is brewed and about to head out to various locations.

Shortlived off-white head; hazy ochre-amber beer. Sweet hoppy, rosewater, amandine, but to a very high level. Too perfumed by half. Sweet, almondy, marzipan, with hops, bit cheesy in the finish. Medium bodied, quite slick. Aftertaste has oxydized cookies. Rather Belgian features on the hoppy front, especially in the aftertaste. Not quite to my liking, I’m afraid.

Bottled 650ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Slight hazy orange/golden coloured, small off-white head, caramel and touch of resin in the nose. Sweet malty, grapefruity/fruity hoppy, light caramel and resin with noticable alcohol presence. Also strong bitterness in the finish. All in all good brew but almost 20$ price leads nowhere.

Bottle. Unclear amber/brown with big off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, hop, citrus and pine. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, hops, citrus, pine, medium sweet, little harsh and quite bitter.

Bottle from Mikkeller Web Shop. Clear orange with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, alcohol and moderate hoppy - pine and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and rather bitter with some alcohol. 291014

Bottle courtesy of Benzai, thank you sir! Clear deep golden color, fluffy tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, pine resin. Taste is very bitter citrus, resin.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ home on the terrace. [ As Ska Brewing/Brash Skankin Dirty ].Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, fruity, wood, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, woody hops, pine, caramel, medium dry, light old hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy. Bottle @ RBBSG, 2014. Thanks Benzai! Orange colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Fruity nose with notes of grapefruit. Sweet with bitter finish. Well balanced. Good DIPA.

Bouteille 66cl @ RBBSG III, courtesy of Benzai. Orangée-ambre, col fin blanc cassé. Arôme offre un profond bouquet houblonné respirant le pin et une once de fruité agrumes, malté avec un léger bouquet grains fermentés. Palais est épais, huileux presque au niveau des alpha houblonnés. Petite touche de pamplemousse, malt cara avec une pointe de réglisse? Le niveau alcool se retrouve dominant et diminue le score de cette bière.
