473ml can. Pours a hazy bronze-orange with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, Belgian yeast, orange, clove, passion fruit and light pine. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, Belgian yeast, orange, clove, black pepper, peach, pineapple, passion fruit and piney hops in a dry, booze warming finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out a good mix of piney and resinous hops, along with Belgian yeast and caramel malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with Belgian yeast upfront, followed by bitter piney hops, and just enough biscuity malt. Not great balance, and the palate is quite abrasive. More Belgian yeast than lots of hops. Decent stuff.

Florals and some citrus. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish with tangy aftertaste. Good balance. Well done hybrid that leans more toward the Belgian end of things. Tap at St augustines.

Bottle from Boundary Crossing Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy amber color with small head. The aroma has some plastic/rubber, phenol, candies. Good body strength, lean mouthfeel, actually a bit alcoholic; simple malt profile, with some cereals, caramel, moderate peppery/spicy character, strong bitterness, but just light hop qualities, although it’s a bit fruity and resiny; hints of liquorice.
Not bad, but simplistic.

Hazy light tan. Very thin bubbly head. Aroma has lots of bubblegummy aromas but the taste is quite a bit more convoluted. Sweet, bitter...not coming together. Phenols are random, esters, too. None of this makes sense, it’s just a bunch of stuff in a glass.
