Hops were our primary focus when brewing this huge double IPA, keeping it traditional, we went with Columbus, Centennial and Simcoe for the boil and both dry hops.

We ended up with a super dank, crisp, and intensely bitter old school West Coast IPA. Something to keep you company whilst enjoying the bliss of solitude.

Pours amber, large fading head.Nose shows pineapple, lychee, orange marmalade, piny hops, resinous notes, and clean malt.Flavours include full-on piny and resinous hops, some grapefruit, sweet clean malt, hints of mango, lychee and guava, some biscuity malt and a bit of booze mixing in with the aggressive green bitterness to create quite a formidable finish.

Amber, a cm if white doesn’t last. Grapefruit, mango skin, pine bread crust, some red berries. Barely enough caramelised malt to keep hops from harshness. Citrus doesn’t float through as much as pine and berries. Firm brief bitter end. Good but plain.
