Keg at Six Deg Aberdeen. It pours cloudy orange-amber with a small yellow-white head. The nose is soft, earth, cream cheese, spice, hay, barnyard, must, sulphur and smoked ham. The taste is bitter-sweet, juicy orange, tangerine, candied orange peel, odd cream cheese feel, digestive biscuit, sugar, earth, straw, alcohol and touch of spice with a dry finish. Med+ body and fine, prickly carbonation. Odd sweet, cheesy thing going on. A bit all over the place... The third shared between 2 didnae get finished...

33cl Bottle from Prik&Tik Pauwels. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of a typical strong blond Belgian ale, apples, alcohol, some citrus, malts, esters. Flavour is malty, light floral, red apples, alcohol, green apples, hint of citrus, bitter finish, some yeast. Medium bodied. Nice enough, but very generic.

Commissioned beer with sticky, cream white, rapidly dissolving head and orangey peach blonde colour, misty. Aroma of orange, curaçao, dried apricot, coriander, nutmeg, caramel malts, grassy hops. Fresh citrus touch in onset, restrainedly sweetish, lemony accent, honeyish malt but staying rather dry, pretty strong carbonation, bitterish finish with badly hidden alcohol (on the brink of becoming disturbing) and solvents. Mediocre.

Thx to Kraddel! 33 cl. bottle sampled @ Barely Legal Tasting Room. Hazy orange / creamy white head. Smells of plastic, bitter grains, basement, boozy, something unpleasant. Bitter taste, grains, sweet corn, fusels, bitter plastic, herbal, boozy. High carbonation. Not a fan at all of this one.

Pours blonde ok white head Smell is typical trippel malts and yeast . Too much gas . Again .. Too sweet ( sugary , cornsyrup , not complex and very borning .. . Bit bitter in the back .

Bouteille 33cl de Willems, BB 22/01/2016. Dorée-ambrée, col épais crémeux blanc/beige. Arôme de pastilles de houblons fraîches. Léger fleuri avec ce côté âcre, note de levure sur qcq notes d’épices, possible écorce orangée? Palais est malté, pâle et caramel très basique. Garde un profil on ne peut plus belge sur une amertume modérée et léger fruité-herbacé. Alcool est réchauffant au palais avec un fini grain métallique. Léger côté sirop, grillé en retrait. Belle étiquette et nostalgique.

Light haze on this amber beer. Decent white head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and semi dry. Lactose milky sweet pale malt. Subtle herbs. Fairly peppery spice. That’s about it. Dry finish. Not bad.

Clear orange golden colour, white head. Quite light aroma, hops, honey and malts. Sweet malty flavour, some bitter hops, citrus peel, quite fruity, apricot. Hop bitter finish, marmalade and honey.
