G40 is a shining example of a Golden Ale. A perfect mix of wheat and aromatic malts give a fuller body and a beautiful backbone of bread like malt sweetness. The fusion of hops (Herkules, Cascade, Chinook and Saaz) balance the beer with bitterness and deliver a big hit of fresh citrus and tropical fruit. Left unfiltered G40 pours hazy to the eye.

Bottle at home. It pours hazy deep gold to amber with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy, bready malts, slightly perfumed, stone fruits, apricot, peach and a hint of bubblegum. The taste is firmly dry, grassy bitterness, earthy, floral, peppery spice, bready malts, cracker, pithy, citrus peel, slightly soapy and metallic with a drying and grassy finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Nice aroma, but the taste is harsh, grassy and soapy. So-so.
