Cloudy brownish orange blond beer with thick off-white head; very estery, lots of candied orange, stonefruit, pineapple, peach, some nutty malts, caramelly, sugary, sweet main taste, very yeasty with dryish, bitterish and somewhat spicy finish, a tad vinous, with agreeably warming alcohol; tasted as an old beer, I will re-rate this when I find a fresh bottle.

Cloudy medium amber colour, good foamy off-white head, recedes slowly to a steady layer, light lacing. Sweet malty aroma, caramel, fruity (peach, apricot, orange), hints of honey, candy sugar, hints of barnyard, herbal notes. Taste moderate fruity sweet (apricot), light acidic and slightly bitter, quite complex. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, finish fresh herbal bitter, light sweet and spicy notes. Alcohol well hidden. Interesting beer.

Donker geel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is bitter en kruidig, licht zoet, anijs, citroen. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein minimal trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig süß, alkoholisch, belgische Hefe. Geschmack sehr malzig alkoholisch, fruchtig, würzig

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Carrefour in Antwerp. BBF 02/2016. Almost murky, overripe apricot amber, white head that fizzes away almost immediately. Sweet candy fruit nose, overripe fruits, sludgy melting toffee, candy sugar, odd herbs & rye. Taste is boozy, rye & dark bread, warming, fizzy, lots of herbs, candy sugar, sour dough, cheap, sticky, melting toffee, alcohol burn,… Very fizzy. Another fizzy & alcoholic blond BE beer. Not particularly bad but there is just so much of these out there. Odd bread & bitter spices qualities make it a bit more noticeable but in a bad way.

Hazy amber with a white head. Slightly alcoholic taste but otherwise very enjoyable.
