Taste: Sweet malts and red fruits slide down your tongue like velvet, with an oaky vinous character and strong biscuit flavour following. Hints of clean herbal hoppy bitterness and umami join in, with a light peppery spiciness lingering on the tongue.

Bottle 33 cl. Dark brown, creamy foam. Strong aroma: sweetish, malt, jam, light smoked meats, caramel, dried fruits, prunes, port wine. Sweet taste, malt, jam, a crust of dried fruit pie, wine, a little balm, oak, very good.

Tap at Beergeek. Full body, assertive toffeeish sweetness. Also lots of dried fruits, dark fruits. ABV clearly showing itself, med-light warmth. Overall mostly clean, with focus on pale roast. Good but not great.

0,33l bottle from Alko. Almost black beer with small and quickly vanishing head. Aroma is intensive and it has dark roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, licorice. Flavor has roasted malts, licorice, syrup, nuts and chocolate. Complex and full of different flavours. Well balanced, sweet, almost full body, low carbonation.
