27/IV/13 - 33cl bottle @ Zythos Bierfestival (2013-408) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing our beers today!
Clear amber beer, aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, bit sour, red berries, raisins, bit nutty, hay, bread. MF: lots and lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: weird sour start, bitter touch, hint of chocolate, caramel, bit boozy, overripe banana. Aftertaste: bitter, sour touch, caramel, very boozy. What is this? It's nothing like the regular Nostradamus, which is by the way very very good. But this one, is not. Also: it's much lighter than the dark regular Nostradamus. I'll stick to the non-bio version, thank you.
