(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of aspidites. Hazy, orangey golden with an off-white head. Fat, concentrated aroma of caramel and peaches. Very full-bodied, plenty of caramel malt but otherwise completely dominated by a massive dose of aroma hops leaving peach- and citrus notes and a distinct bitterness. A huge beer with quite some personality. 310507

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of hops, but also quite malty and with some notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol, which also leaves a slight burn on the sides of the tongue, leading to a powerfully hoppy end, where the hops leaves traces in the throat. A bit simple, but very nice.

Bottle from aspidites, Thanks Mike!!! Nose of floral and piney hops, copper with a small off white head, Flavor of hop bitterness and light caramel for balance, not really hoppy enough for a IIPA, but has a good hop balance ala an APA or ASA, Not a hop bomb so some of the raters should like it, well balanced!

Label-less bottle with a J on the cap from Davecooks, thank you very much for the great hook up (as far as I understand this is done with the blessing of the brewer). This is a nice DIPA, right when the cap pops there is an aroma of yellow bittered grapefruit. There is a lack of hiss in the pop and little smoke in the neck. Pours with no head (I believe some downsides of the bottling, but its all cool). Color is dark copper mixed with orange, very muddy, just a bit of translucence but low clarity. The aroma is what I want from my bitter DIPAs. Its all yellow grapefruit and other citrus flavors. Followed by tea aromas. Its strong and I can smell the bitterness. Taste is similar but the tea flavors take a larger role, with citrus behind that. Also, just a bit of sweet malt presence in the taste. Bitterness is strong and lasts a while with strong citrus aftertaste.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Big grapefruit/summer fruit aroma. Grapefruit/summer fruit flavor with sweet caramel backing. Lingering grapefruit bitterness with sweet malt. medium body. easy to drink a lot of. There’s a bit of alcohol present, but this is a very drinkable IIPA.
