Tap at the Brew Haus, served in a tal mug. Color is dark brown, can’t see through it but does allow for a few light streaks. Aroma is some lager fruitiness, with a small malt sweetness. Similar in taste but the sweetness is a but subdued. Leaves a slightly sweet aftertaste and low on bitterness. When imagining a "chocolate" doppelbock with such a strong abv, I never thought it would end up like this, damn it.

Cask at Long Island Real Ale Festival - rich, malty aroma, with loads of chocolate (smells like a freshly opened chocolate bar) - a bit thin-bodied, with a watery mouthfeel - however, the flavor almost makes up for it - caramel malt and chocolate (duh) dominate the flavor, almost reminding me of Celebrator - a good attempt, but it falls a bit short.
