Accessible spicy blonde beer of only 5.5 vol% matured in gin barrels
This beer has matured in eight months ‘Villiers’ gin barrels and 8 months in bottle. Noblesse VSOP is thus a clear beer, and has a very fine, light bitterness of hops and juniper. The beer is refreshing, smooth and has sufficiently long aftertaste. A perfect thirst-quenching beer.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is estery, phenols, a bit vegetal. Taste is phenols, bananas, white sugar, on the sweet side. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok.

A very fun little beer. Marketed as a kölsch'ish blonde, or something like that, and I see why. Pretty grainy and malty. Some hoppy bitterness, and bit of jenever / juniper / wood. Easy drinking, very light, fresh and good fun.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has quite nothing. Flavour has apricot, fruits, grainy malt, mild hops and minerals. Malty but easy-going. Mediocre grassy hop kick in the finish. Gets a bit stuffy at the end of the glass.

Bottle. Golden color. Malt, citrus and genever in the aroma. Genever and a hint of juniper overwhelmes other flavors. Very nice to drink, even if I’m not particularly fond of genever.

Tap at Foeders, Amsterdam, 27th Februry 19. Pours golden, big neat head. Aroma is aromatic, yeast, herbal. Taste is musky barrel, herb, gin, sherry, very unusual and well achieved, nice in small measures.
