Brownish amber in colour with a thin off-white head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, a bit of caramel and some faint spiceyness. Medium-bodied; Roasty malt taste with some subtle spices and sugars. Aftertaste bittered from the roasted malt, but not overpowered. Overall, I thought this was more of a Scottish Ale, and actually liked it a decent amount. Nothing wrong with the pint I had! I got this on draught at the Pizza Plant in Buffalo, New York.

Medium chestnut colour, some caramel and earthy malts. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing right either. I've had a hundred beers just like it.
