On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a grayish head that dissipates completely. Aroma has an earthy combination of earthy pine and grass with a solid grain backbone. Flavor has a nice earthy pine with some underlying nice sweet grain.

Draft. Cloudy deep gold/orange. Dense, off-white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, raw hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Earthy, raw hop flavor. Taste of citrus, orange, dough. Standard fare.

Citra version
10oz long thin tulip glass. Beer pours beautifully with a frothy head and a definitely unfiltered, dark orange color that allows little clarity. Aroma is fresh and crisp with tangy, light, citrus hops. The hops are accompanied well in the flavor with a malt backbone that is present but does not get in the way of the hops. Goes down easy.

German Norther Brewer
Similar score, the floral/herbal hops work well with this malt bill as well.

Calypso
This was by far the least interesting. It felt like there were less hops or the hops were more subtle, can’t pinpoint exactly the defining character of this hop.

Growler, filled about 3 weeks ago - from csbosox. Pour is golden tan with a very hazy, cloudy unfiltered look with a tan one inch off white head. Active carbonation. Decent lacing as head falls quickly. Aroma of fresh clean resin pine hops. Some slightly toasted maltiness present as well. Nice fresh hop nose. Taste is is the resin, malt and pine in that order. The finish features a bit of cardboard and bitter orange peel. Palate is medium, again very much an unfiltered experience. Overall a tasty brew. Thanks for picking this one up for me Chris.
