Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, brettanomyces, and fruits. The flavor is acidic with notes of berries, malt, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish.

Tap at California State Fair. "Brian" says 7.5% ABV. It’s a blend of things like merlot and tripel and who knows what. Pours reddish amber with a fine off-white head. Smells like Flanders. Served at ambient temperature - ~85 degrees? Medium body with mild carbonation. Medium sour. Somewhat vinous. Suggests red wine. Seems quite oaky.

On tap. Slightly hazy orangey brown with a rough, off-white head. Tart aroma of wood and caramel. Medium body, distinct tartness on a background of caramel. Rather sour finish with lots of woody notes. Very delicious. 110709

From tap at Drakes, RBSG2009. Pours hazy dark orange with a small off-white head. Dry and acidic fruity aroma, solid phenolic too. Acidic and phenolic flavoured with a distinct fruity note. Light acetone and fruity finish.

On tap at the Stone Sourfest. Pours with a hazed browns body and a skimpy off-white head. Aroma of red wine, leather and spice. Flavor is light wine, sour, vinegar and caramel. Light bubbles, pleasant!

Draft at RBSG’09 Grand Tasting. The beer has a dark murky amber color and a weak bubbly head. Aroma is wam bam in your face acetic barrel parts. Some light butter barrel in there as well. Its strong and looking for a fight. There is lots of acid and leafy barrel in the flavor. There is very aggressive lemon brett. Its out of control sour, acidic, with just a bit of bitter barrel. Its doable but really rough around the edges. It also gave me apple cider burps.

Draft at RBSG Grand Tasting. Nose of Oak, funk, and a light note of plums. Red orange with a medium beige head. Flavor is fruity and funky without much real tartness.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice cream colored head. Malt, yeast, caramel, fruit, slight tart aroma. Big fruity, caramel, spice, yeast flavor. Medium-plus bodied. Lingering caramel, fruit, yeast, malt. Would have thought this might have been barrel aged from tasting it.
