A reddish amber lager with a thin white head. A sweet fruity Vienna, a bit funky and burned. In mouth, a rather light crisp malt, light caramel, some boiled veggies, roasted notes. On tap at MSP location, Jan 24 2009.

Sampler at MSP airport, third beer in the sampler. After the other three, I found this to be the most enjoyable for the moment and then had a shaker pour. It is a clear, more brown then red, color. It has a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma is perfect balance of hops and burnt and woodsy malt behind that, yet almost no residual sweetness, nice and clean. Taste is still hoppy (grassy and sweet hops) with loads of roast malts back there as well. Some toffee in there as well that melds perfectly as well. Comes off as fruit punch with a light caramel sweetness. Still clean and so fun and easy to drink. Came off as a lagered, clean, Irish Ale more so than a Vienna, either way I liked it a lot.

Sample at the MSP location. Pours a mostly clear dark red color with a minimal light beige head that disappears almost immediately. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty with touches of caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet malt and toffee along with some hops. The finish is sweet with a lingering malt aftertaste. Average overall.
