22oz bottle as part of the "World Tour" Pack. Pours with a small tan head over a near black, dark brown body. Head fades and leaves minimal lace. Aroma of dark fruits, vinous, chocolate, ash, tobacco, metal, soil and spices. Taste is dark fruits, metallic, vinous, caramel, ash, and rotting fruit roll up. Way over hopped for the style. Lively carbonation.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a medium head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is faint with notes of brown sugar, toffee and a sourness that should not be there. Taste is that same sourness, yet much more so. Other than that some earthy toffeish notes. Faint hops. Medium bodied. Cooked bottle and a miss by the brewery.

22oz bomber bottle. Opaque blackish-brown color, maybe a hint of stained-glass red. The aroma is surprisingly light, a touch of Oud Bruin sweetness. The taste is similar, with a pleasant tartness. Lots of dark, pungent fruit taste. Malty and sticky sweet, very easy to drink, really does remind me of Belgium. Not "true" to style, but certainly enjoyable.

22oz bottle poured into a copita glass. It pours with a very dark brown color. Aroma is a very spicy yeastiness and black bread with even some caraway seed like spiciness and breadiness. Taste is a bit sweeter and plummy with that sweet black bread flavor common to the style. Has a light;y fizzy finish, which brings it down to the Otter Creek level.
