Cask@O’Connells, Tampere (backlog). Amber colour with mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops and some caramel and honey as well. Flavour is grassy, fruity and floral hops along with mild wooden and nutty notes.

Cask at the Magnolia in S.F. Light caramel aroma. Dark amber color with a little white head. Smoth, near medium in body, andno real carbonation. Starts with very well balanced lightly roasted malt and floral/fruit bitter. Finishes pretty dry, yet mildly fruity with fruit/floral hop. It’s good to be in England (in S.F.).

(Cask at Gallows Bird on 2008-01-26) Taste is a bit sweet but roasted malts and fuity hops balance it quite nicely.

The color is a clear, dark brown. Aroma is fruity hops (not American), very strong, which creates a British hop juice sensation; very nice and original. It’s hoppy yet British. The taste is not as interesting, its a watery hop mess and the reduced carbonation just makes it seem bad. I would love to try this bottled and not on cask.
Cask @ Beer Table, British pint glass.

Cask at redlight. Very nice. Dark reddish brown, with a foaming head that settled into a lingering layer of cream. Hoppy aroma, with a spicy resiny citric nature, some caramelized rye breadiness malts, toasty and maybe just a touch nutty. Low carbonation in the mouth, light andsmooth going down, somewhat citric and piney hops skirt the edges, finish easy. Quite an easy drinker.

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 08 Reddy amber colour with white bubbly head. Punchy citrus hits you with a left hook, then the bitterness which coats your tongue and hangs around for ever delivers a devastating right uppercut. Your left reeling before that long, long, hoppy tropical fruit finish delivers the body blow. Oakham don’t do things by half this is great, the Japanese Sorachi Ace hop along with American duo of Amarillo and Cluster hops provide one very interesting beer.
