Draft at Small Bar Logan Square. Color is a rosy shade of orange amber, thick and glowing but cannot see through it. I don’t think I would have known there is raspberry in this beer. There is a bit of a fruity character but I thought it was coming of the yeast, fruity yeast. A little too thick and grainy in the mouthfeel and the malts. There is a light musky fruit character in the beer. I like the fruit-esque flavor, works well with the rye light spice, and the little bit of tartness. However, its just too husky.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber orange with a touch of red and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a light raspberry with some earthy funk and a bit of light grain. Flavor has lots of earthy funk with earthy grains and some light raspberry.
