Sampler, aged in Heaven Hills barrels, at the West Seattle location. I was going in with a negative mentality thinking its gonna be a horrid mess. But this was surprisingly well done, close the BCS. Sweet grainy, but not too sweet aroma. No vanilla and alcohol strong but not offensive. Flavor is similar with malt sweetness but not bad sugars. Alcohol barrel present but not assertive or destructive. Surpsinvly lighter end of medium body with a fellt yet light carbonation. Finish with a burst of grainy cocoa then some bourbon. Even a light faint fruity barrel alcohol mix. Very drinkable given the style.

On tap at Brouwer's for Big Wood, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of light bourbon, roasted malts and chalk. Flavour is quite liqueur-like and boozy, with bourbon, vanilla and roasted malt. Complex and boozy. Very nice.
