Hefeweizen is a pale, hazy, Bavarian-style wheat ale, with bready malt flavors, low bitterness, fruity banana esters, and spicy clove-like phenols.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Handy pouring directions on the bottle. Aroma is a nice typical hefe banana and clove. Flavor is typical hefe banana and clove with some chewy wheat malt. Nothing wrong with this one, pretty spot on for the style.

On tap at KC Bier, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh clove, moderate esters, and whispy wheat. Flavour is clean, with lots of clove, restrained banana esters, and wheat. Correctly brewed, with not too much chaotic estery character. Good for the style.

Orange, banana, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with nice white head and mild effervescence. Moderately sweet banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Great body and balance. Superb - one of the best US Weizens I've had.

Several glasses from a growler filled two hours previously at the brewery in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipated somewhat quickly. The aroma is clove, grassy wheat and banana yeast. The taste is the banana notes up front, followed with a nice mix of crisp wheat grain malt and more yeast of clove and banana esters. The palate is unfiltered, medium bodied with a lingering banana finish. Well made beer, very much to style, though a touch heavy on the banana notes for my personal taste.

Sampler at the brewery. As everything at this brewery, it solidly made, very solid. The banana is well restrained and a great attenuated body. A clean malt base that adds a bit of a white crust character. Super drinkable with a slightly stronger carbonation. Very well made here. Thick golden glowing color wth no clarity.
