4oz pour at Smoke and Barrel DC. Pours a watery brown with some cloudy, white head. Nice tart nose, red grapes, some cooked greens, significant barrel, some medicine cabinet. Flavor is very tart, lots of acid, red grape, nettles, cherry, some cheap port. Tart, acetic finish.

Part of a sampler at Ginger Man NYC. Dark ruby red color with no head. Super acetic aroma. Stings the nasal airways. Then burns my throat going down. Light bodied and not total nail polish but pretty bad. This was best later when I blended it with other beers.

Tap at the Jeffrey. I am assuming this is a souring of original mothers milk stout. A little Jow history lesson, mothers milk was first beer I ever rated in 2009. Pours black with thin head. Nose is tart lactic acid. Tastes of bitter dark chocolate, earthy, berries, and funky. Just right sourness very pleasant.
